Best-selling children's author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the firm stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of reports of inappropriate behaviour directed at female individuals.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, having sold over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in 55 languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
He has published over four dozen titles combined, including a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
